VIVA VIGAN !

Every January 25, the Vigan City Fiesta is held. It is observed on the day of St. Paul the Apostle's conversion feast. Vigan City's patron saint is St. Paul. Prior to becoming a Christian, St. Paul was Saul, a fervent persecutor of Christians. His name was changed to Paul after he had a close encounter with Jesus Christ while traveling to Damascus, and he underwent many sufferings and perils in order to carry the gospel to distant locations.

I'm having fun watching dancing or doing zumba. It made me fit and it helped me feel relax to, the way I follow and listen those amazing beats or songs, those sweats it didn't ended up on nothing. Watching and dancing together zumba has change my life, it made me energetic and I feel happy about that.

The Vigan City Longganisa Festival, a week-long event, was joyful and cheery on January 22. On a scorching hot afternoon, a sea of people eagerly waited in the side streets to catch a peek of the Longganisa street dancing. Street dancers wear vibrant, generally silky clothing, and some even sport beaded accessories (traditional woven product of Ilocos). With seductive smiles on their faces that match their dances around Vigan's streets, street dancers demonstrate their creativity and grace.

My first experience with a carnival ride was a riding in a Ferris wheel together with my friends. Standing at a distance and looking at that looming monstrosity spinning the life out of its sardine-caged occupants, I was morbidly frightened and tentatively excited. It was a huge, colorful, noisy and not just your average carnival Ferris wheel. It is a great and memorable time for me in riding a ferris wheel.
