NATIONAL CHILDREN'S MONTH
National Children’s Month is celebrated in November in the Philippines every year. This month-long celebration aims to give Filipino children access to a healthy environment, good education, and healthcare. Dr. Jose Rizal, the Philippines’ national hero, jounce said that the youth is the future of the nation, investing in children is key for the betterment of the next generation. This holiday also comes from a place of empathy. As a third-world country, most families struggle financially, and it’s the children who suffer the most. This month highlights the ways we can help and support them.
Little kids are adorable. They resemble divine gifts from God that parents get. Their innocent gaze is contagious. They laugh when they interact with their friends, they cry on their first day of school away from their parents, they smile when they receive affection and appreciation, and they represent nothing but true, unadulterated love. They do in fact represent God.
No of their ethnicity, culture, gender, or age, every child in the world deserves to be loved, taken care of, and protected from injury and abuse. Children have the right to experience childhood without experiencing adult-inflicted violence, harm, or abuse. For kids to genuinely learn and profit from life's lessons, they must go through it on their own.
