Mom: The Unsung Hero

Mother's Day is a special occasion to celebrate and honor mothers and mother figures for their love, care, and sacrifices. It is typically observed on the second Sunday in May in many countries around the world.

There are many ways to celebrate Mother's Day. Some people may choose to give their mother a gift, such as flowers, jewelry, or a heartfelt card expressing their gratitude and appreciation. Others may take their mother out for a special meal, cook her favorite dish at home, or spend quality time together doing activities they both enjoy.

As mother's day spent, we first attend the mass with my whole family. Then after the mass we decided to treat our mother in mang inasal. We simply eat and enjoy our foods. We do chikahan and kulitan after we eat. And that's mother's day  we celebrated.

Regardless of how one chooses to celebrate Mother's Day, the most important thing is to show love and appreciation for the special women in our lives who have nurtured and supported us throughout our journey.
